Jacuzzi 2024. Football is back. And I'm excited about the new look Steelers. Russell Wilson and Justin Fields at QB? Never would have guessed that in a million years. And it's time to dust off that Jacuzzi and bring it into action. Hope you are all warmed up and ready to make your Jacuzzi picks. Because Week 1 is ready for you |
March 19, 2024 |
March Madness. And it's missing the "rebuilding" Bruins. Did you know they were a 2 seed last
Madness? Now they're a no seed. Not even invited to the Not Invited Tournament (NIT). Can the Aztecs pull off another crazy miracle? How will the only two PAC-12 teams in the dance perform in the conference's last
hurrah? The results of our draft is now up. |
September 6, 2023 |
Jacuzzi 2023. The football season is finally here. Fantasy Football, Pittsburgh Steelers football,
UCLA Bruins football, the Jacuzzi, the Steambath, the Squirt Gun. It's all here. I'm really excited about the
Steelers. I see a new dynasty about to rise.... Anyways, the first Jacuzzi form of week 1 is reay for you to
chip that football picking rust away. |
March 26, 2023 |
The Rotisserie Draft. We are now on our 30th year. Geez. 30 F'n Years! Have you even been married this long? The results of our
30th Rotisserie Draft is now official. |
March 15, 2023 |
This March is definitely going to be mad. The Bruins are #2. The Gauchos made it! Where the F is
Florida? Where's Michigan? Who the heck is Texas A&M Corpus Christie? Furman? Is that a super hero? This
is definitely not a typical year with the normal college basketball powerhouses representing. Since when has
North Carolina NOT been in the big dance? Anyways, the MM Draft results are now up. It's the only game in
town this year since a dumbass named Webster didn't even prep his MM website for the traditional office pool. |
September 5, 2022 |
Hope everyone had a good Labor Day...while I was laboring to get the FIRST Jacuzzi entry of the 2022 year out to you all. Should be an
exciting year for the Steelers. Who's it going to be? Mitch "Sucked with the Bears" Trubisky? Mason "Get crushed in the head with a helmet"
Rudolph? Or will it be the 3rd string rookie sensation from Pitt, Kenny Pickett? Inquiring minds want to know!!! Anyways, the first Jacuzzi of
2022 is now available for your picking prowess. |
March 15, 2022 |
And the Bruins are back! Into the dance!! Not to be denied this year, right? What happened to Florida? UCSB, Fresno St, UC San Diego,
Stonybrook and Cal State Channel Islands? The other schools that the rest of the gang have allegiance to? Oops. Too bad. MM Draft results are
now up for your frenzied enjoyment. |
September 8, 2021 |
Football is here!! Stadiums are filling up!! COVID cases are on the rise!! And I don't see a heck of a lot of masks. As a
matter of fact, I bet we'll see more facemask penalties than fans wearing facemasks. Anyways I'm stoked that the Football season is starting.
But, can the Steelers finally make a legitimate run to the Superbowl and NOT whither like they did last year? We shall see. With that,
the first Jacuzzi of 2021 is now up. |
March 15, 2021 |
YES!! We get March Madness this year. Despite the continuing COVID pandemic and that UCLA was a fringe, bubble team, we got March
Madness back! And UCLA squeaked in! While the MM draft was held virtually, it was refreshing to see the boys again and be able to do
something that we all used to take for granted. MM Draft results are now up. |
February 21, 2021 |
This Pandemic has really put a dent on all of the sports that we've enjoyed participating in. Last year, we couldn't get together
to conduct our annual Rotisserie League draft in Las Vegas. And it's not looking too good this year as well. Doing a virtual draft is just
not the same. Nevertheless, updated rosters have been posted just in case we move forward with this 2021 Rotisserie League Season. |
September 7, 2020 |
Jacuzzi 2020. And the last update I made prior was last year's Jacuzzi. That's how crazy and insane things are nowadays. We are now
living a new norm in this pandemic environment because of COVID-19. Kids are distance learning. Youth sports are really restricted. Dining is
all about who has the outdoor seating. The PAC-12 has been postponed. And now, the NFL has snuck up on me. Well, the first Jacuzzi of
Pandemic 2020 is now up. Please stay safe making your picks. Wear your masks. Social Distance. Do your part to make us all safe. |
September 4, 2019 |
Jacuzzi 2019. It's back. Football is back. Fantasy football team is ready. The Steelers are ready. The Bruins are not. At least the Jacuzzi entry is
ready. Go get it boys and girls! |
April 9, 2019 |
Seems like I forgot to update this with something witty for the March Madness milestone and for the Rotisserie milestone. Maybe it's because the UCLA Bruins
men's basketball team was such a disappointment. And that the Pirates didn't do jack to improve the team. Nevertheless, I didn't do too shabby in my MM picks. And,
it was good to see the guys again in Vegas for our 26th Annual Rotisserie Draft |
September 5, 2018 |
Jacuzzi 2018. Our 27th year. And going strong. It's back!! Time for the NFL season to start. Who cares about college football? Now that we know
the Bruins are going to have a long, long year. Chip Kelly wasn't supposed to bring his NFL experience with him. Anyways, week 1's Jacuzzi entry is now ready |
April 8, 2018 |
Well, that March Madness was a dud. Good thing baseball is back. Twenty-five years of doing this.
No better place to have our 25th annual draft than in Vegas. That was a good time. Post-draft Rosters are
now up |
March 13, 2018 |
Only three PAC-12 teams in March Madness this year? And two of those, including UCLA, are playing in the
First Four games? WTF? Is the PAC-12 that bad? Hopefully, my picks aren't as bad |
September 7, 2017 |
Wow. I apparently forgot to make an entry for the baseball season. Maybe next year. Because it's
now time for football season! Finally it's here. Did anyone see that EPIC UCLA comeback against Texas A&M?
EPIC! Now to business on hand. The 2017 Jacuzzi is here! Our 26th year! Week 1's sheet is now ready |
March 14, 2017 |
It's time. March Madness time. FINALLY UCLA has a decent team. Or, should I say, a FANTASTIC team?
Question. If UCLA comes close, but no cigar, will Lonzo Ball still leave? |
April 3, 2016 |
The best part of the rotisserie baseball season? The draft. It was a good time. Now we have to slog through 162 games to figure out the winner. Good luck boys. |
March 17, 2016 |
Are you drinking a Harp? A Guinness? Are you eating corned beef and cabbage? Wearing green? Because it's March Madness time! Time to test your luck of the Irish and find your four-leaf clover on this field that does not include UCLA nor Florida. Sounds like a dud. In any event, the MM draft results are now posted |
September 7, 2015 |
Football is here! No, not Futbol. Football!! UCLA crushed Virginia - they're new True Freshman QB looks AWESOME. But, I digress. The 2015 Jacuzzi is here! I know you've all been waiting for this moment.
Week 1's sheet is now ready for you to test your football wit |
April 5, 2015 |
Baseball season is back!! Another season for the Pirates to prove they are this nation's premier baseball franchise. Another season to prove that the Throwing Daggers are this
nation's premier rotisserie baseball team |
March 18, 2015 |
March Madness is back. I must say, I was really looking forward to this, but, I'm less than thrilled with the field. Plus, UCLA just isn't good this year. This may be one of those ho hum tournaments.
MM draft results are now posted. |
September 1, 2014 |
Did I really go a whole year whithout updating this front page? Even though we were clearly doing stuff over the past year? Well then! Again another Labor Day. Again another day getting the Jacuzzi ready. Week 1 of 2014 is now up for
your random picking glory |
September 2, 2013 |
Once again, my Labor Day is laboring on getting this Jacuzzi thang together. But, it was worth it. Let's hope the Steelers can do it this time. But, equally, let's hope my Fantasy Football team wins. |
April 12, 2013 |
Baseball season is now in full swing. Can the Pirates finally hit the .500 barrier and end their 20-year losing streak? I hope so. |
March 20, 2013 |
March Madness has arrived. The Bruins are back in it this year. Not that there's any hope since one of their star players got injured during the PAC-12 tournament.
In any event, the draft results are up. Those beverages are looking tasty already. |
September 3, 2012 |
Can you believe I'm actually doing this on my Labor Day? Out in Orlando, FL? Yes, I am. The 2012 Jacuzzi is now upon us. Break out your team coasters, mugs, jerseys, pennants.
Purchase your favorite Fathead Graphic of your favorite football player. Entry forms are now available. But, get them in quick. Kickoff is this WEDNESDAY. |
April 13, 2012 |
Geez. I forgot to announce that baseball season is here!!! Woot! I'm jazzed about this rotisserie season. I think I have a killer team. I...will...WIN! |
March 15, 2012 |
Normally, I'm excited about March Madness. This year, I'm just not as jazzed. Maybe it's because the Bruins aren't in it this time. No, the Belmont Bruins are NOT a good
substitute. Maybe it's because the Bruins didn't even make the NIT or the CIT or whatever other loser tournament that is out there. They are a bunch of under achievers this year.
Anyways, draft results are now posted. |
September 6, 2011 |
Hooray! The 2011 Jacuzzi is finally back. Time to put on your favorite team jersey. Time to whip out your favorite throwing darts to guess those winning teams.
Entry forms are now available. But, get them in quick. Kickoff is this Thursday. |
April 4, 2011 |
It's baseball season again. The Rotisserie Draft is easily one of the best events of the year. Results of this draft are now online. Play Ball!!! |
March 17, 2011 |
The Madness is back. For the first time that I can recall, I've been shut out of picking UCLA. I can't believe it. Not that they were going to get far anyways. Draft results
are now available. Let the Madness begin!! |
September 6, 2010 |
The beauty of going to work on Labor Day. How cool is it to get paid while getting the 2010 Jacuzzi all prepped up and ready for action. That's right. Welcome to Jacuzzi 2010!!
Entry forms are now available online. But, get your forms in quick. Kickoff is Thursday. |
April 12, 2010 |
Yippee!!! Baseball is back. Updated are results of our long-awaited Rotisserie Baseball Draft. Lots of fun. One of the best days of the year. Time to get to business. |
March 18, 2010 |
March Madness has arrived again. Sadly, my beloved Bruins failed to make the tournament. Now the brackets are filled with a motley crew of scrub teams. Draft results are
now available. |
September 7, 2009 |
Hope everyone's playing hard or napping hard on your Labor Day. I've been doing the Legoland thing until I remembered that I've got to get the most anticipated event in the
history of office pools - our annual Jacuzzi for 2009. So, with the kids glued to the hotel TV, the wife passed out for a short siesta, I'm getting our glorious event ready and ready
it is. Welcome to Jacuzzi 2009. Order forms are available online. Orders are on limited time availability. |
April 17, 2009 |
Back to rotisserie baseball. Yup, we're at it again. The site is now updated with the first week of stats. |
March 19, 2009 |
Ahhh. The first event of the year. March Madness. I love March Madness. All my friends love March Madness. If you want to be my friend, you need to love March Madness.
Draft results are in and are now posted. |
September 2, 2008 |
UCLA 27 Tennessee 24. What's this about the SEC being better than the PAC-10? Looks like the beginning of a hopeful football season. Let us not forget another Jacuzzi season.
I bring you the Jacuzzi 2008. |
August 18, 2008 |
In anticipation of the upcoming jacuzzi season, I have resurrected and found a new host for my thebaks domain. This was done because the freebie site I was using with Verizon had
problems processing my jacuzzi entries. As a result, this site has been moved to my new host. Please update your bookmark for this site. |
April 8, 2008 |
I can't believe UCLA lost again in the Final Four. Well, at least we now have rotisserie to play for. |
March 20, 2008 |
March Madness. The best event of the year. And the first of 2008. Draft results have now been posted. |
December 12, 2007 |
It's Bathtub time. The tub is filling up. The form is now online. |
September 3, 2007 |
UCLA 45 Stanford 17. Ahhh, what a way to kick off the football season. Let alone another Jacuzzi season. So, let's start this off with the official Jacuzzi 2007 season. |
April 7, 2007 |
Rotisserie is back. The Major League Baseball season has begun! May the best owner win. |
March 15, 2007 |
March Madness. That multi-billion dollar event. I wish our own was multi-billion. Draft results are up, so enjoy. |
January 9, 2007 |
The Florida Gators are the BCS Champs. I can't believe it. Why is it that UCLA seems to somehow pave the way for
Florida to be NCAA champs in a sport? What? Is baseball next? |
December 11, 2006 |
The Bathtub 2006 is finally upon us. The entry is now up on the website. |
September 3, 2006 |

March 15, 2006 |

in the March Madness Section. |
December 6, 2005 |
The 2005-06 Bathtub is finally online and hopefully working. It works just like the Jacuzzi, but now you're dealing with
college football bowl games. |
September 15, 2005 |
For those of you playing in the jacuzzi and submitting your picks on-line, your picks will not be confirmed back to your entered
e-mail address IF you either entered your e-mail incorrectly (well, this is obvious) OR if you are using netscape navigator. This is
something I just noticed yesterday. As I've mentioned before, I do not plan to make this site compatible with netscape/mozilla/firefox
or whatever else is out there that is not Internet Explorer. Sorry about that. |
September 5, 2005 |
Happy Labor Day!!! While you guys are barbecuing, boozing and screwing, I'm sitting here getting this site ready for the annual
Jacuzzi, Steambath and Squirt Gun. For this year's jacuzzi, you can now submit picks online. Please be sure to enter your email address
when submitting your picks online. Otherwise, you could have me guessing. And, please. One pick per person. I haven't gotten around to
developing some cool nifty program to prevent double dippers. Double dipping is approved, if you let me know beforehand. There's also a
cool feature for those of you that are just pure downright lazy. You can now quickpick your picks. I had other designs for this feature,
but decided it could wait until next year. Anyways, for those of you needing your lotto fix, there's no need to tax what little football
knowledge you retained in that dinky little brain of yours. Just select the quickpick button, hit submit, and voila. Done. So, come
right on in and enjoy the festivities. |
April 18, 2005 |
I have a rotisserie league update. The stats service that I use to obtain raw baseball stats has finally resolved their server
issues. Therefore, I am now in the process of updating both the National and American League stats starting from week 1. As of tonight, I
have just finished and uploaded the American league stats for week 1. More to follow soon. I will email the respective league participants
as soon as stat updates become available. |
April 12, 2005 |
For those of you playing in the rotisserie leagues, the stats source that I use is currently having server problems due to a server
migration they have performed. Therefore, stats won't be ready until they are finished resolving their issues. So, once the raw stats are
ready, I will generate stats and let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
April 4, 2005 |
The first sporting event for this site has just come to an end. March Madness saw the North Carolina Tar Heels tar and feather the
Illinois Fighting Illini. Congratulations to Surefire and Gary on the bevy of beverages that they amassed in this lucrative event. Congrats
also go to moi for that brand spanking new ultra-cool NC sweatshirt that poor ole Aaron has to cough up. At least Joel is stoked. He can just
get me the beer while Webster has to scrounge around and try and find that Arizona Ice Tea or the 100% fruit beverage made by some exotic bs
wanna-be snapple company with herbs and other exotic plant-life crap like refreshing tea tree oil or cucumber extract or sun-ripened pearberry
(pearberry?? What the F is pearberry???) that you see in lotions and shampoos for Gary. Can you say chamomile? |
March 18, 2005 |
For those of you that have come here from a bookmark, please look at your URL. If the URL contains my family website address,
then you're going to need to stop coming here from my family website. So, revisit this page using home.earthlink.net/~kiva_k9. Then

March 12, 2005 |
I've finally completed the March Madness brackets for those of us in the draft version of this coveted sport. It contains all
of last year's stuff, but it's completely ready for TOMORROW!!!! |
March 5, 2005 |
Added the table to the left so you can see whether or not the stats you care about have been updated |
March 4, 2005 |
Forums currently disabled due to a crappy roving banner that Aimoo has implemented for using a free forum service. I am only breaking the link on this page for
now. But, please don't enter the forums from the other pages. I will no longer be entertaining forum requests using Aimoo. Sometime in the future, I will either search
for a new host or just create one of my own...
Just added the steambath scores Added transactions to both of the baseball leagues |
